The contents of my current catalogue are the best guide to my specialist areas within literature in English of the late-19th and 20th centuries but – at the inevitable risk of erring on the side of exclusion – some of them are: Modernism (especially T.S. Eliot, James Joyce and Ezra Pound), the Bloomsbury Group, Irish literature, poetry (especially World War I, Philip Larkin, W.H. AudenJohn Betjeman and Ted Hughes), Joseph Conrad, Evelyn Waugh and his circle, Graham Greene, Oscar Wilde and the 1890s, George Orwell, theatre.
Signed, inscribed and association copies, rarities and letters within each of these areas are a particular interest.
As the co-author of “William Golding: A Bibliography 1934-1993” (André Deutsch, 1994), I am always interested to hear of interesting possible additions (or corrections).
